Whenever you’re struggling to read God’s Word, look for AT LEAST ONE of the 4 corner pieces in the passage: 1) the specific sin-problem that God is addressing in the passage, 2) the specific reason that God calls us to trust and worship Him, 3) what only Jesus Christ can do or has done to fully resolve the conflict between our sin-problem and worshiping God, or 4) how we are to follow Him in faith (again, according to the passage).
