One of the Bible’s most common metaphors of spiritual growth in Christ is fruit. In this weekly series, we will refer to specific aspects of fruit bearing from Eden to the New Jerusalem. If you don’t already have at least one potted plant or flower at home, I encourage you to consider getting one for a hands-on experience of what we’ll be studying.
If your church is looking for another practical ministry, a larger scale garden could provide a similar hands-on experience for small groups. It could also be a mercy ministry to the poor in your area.
And the Lord Jesus said “By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” (John 15:8)
