Unless otherwise indicated, Jeff Dillard is the author of all posts in this blog. I (Jeff) and my wife, Lauren, have been married since 1995. By God’s grace, we have four wonderful children and two grandchildren. Lauren serves in several military Christian ministries for women, primarily in local chapters of Protestant Women of the Chapel (PWOC). She also created and manages The Hub at PWOC, a digital library to resource and connect hundreds of women in local chapters of PWOC around the world with materials for leadership training, Bible studies, devotionals, example programs, and much more.
Because my wife and I value transparency and practicality, we offer the video below for a few more personal insights into some of our own trenches and journey in Jesus.
If you’d like a little more background on me, I have Master’s degrees in Divinity, History, and Counseling and was ordained by the Presbyterian Church in America and commissioned as an Army Chaplain in 1998. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of equipping and encouraging others’ faith and service to the Lord Jesus by leading congregations and counseling in multicultural settings across the United States. Seven of those years have been in Germany, Korea, and Iraq.
My passions in ministry are helping others to “learn how to fish” in God’s Word so they can feed themselves daily, designing creative programs for small groups to integrate the members’ hearts, minds, and spirits into their relationships, counseling for similar wholeness, and mentoring fellow believers for practical leadership in Christ. For leisure, I enjoy simple time with my family, exercise, playing guitar and trumpet, and trying foreign foods with friends.
