The video below outlines the basics of the gospel in eight “P”s, fore-shadowed in creation, increasingly revealed throughout God’s Word, and fulfilled in the incarnation of Christ.

This is a visual summary, formatted to fit on a mousepad for reference and discussion:

Day 1 – Presence of Christ (this supernatural Light was the covenantal presence of Jesus)
Day 2 – Plain-speaking of Christ (God separated heaven and earth but did NOT declare it “good”)
Day 3 – Protection & Provision of Christ (God pulls back spiritual danger and resources us for lives of worship)
Day 4 – Purpose of Christ (the sun, moon, and stars to serve as God’s celestial calendar that calls us in to worship)
Day 5 – Places of Christ (the birds and sea creatures are symbols of the dangers arena where God sends us out to live
Day 6 – Positions on Christ (God calls us to live in the image of Christ by His three roles)
Day 7 – Peace of Christ (the tree of life reminds us to walk with Him by faith in Him)

Because this picture is the blueprint of Life, it has at least four applications:

* Each “P” reveals a specific aspect of Jesus’ to instruct our following Him and inspire our faith in Him
* Each of us needs to receive each of these from Jesus in order to have Life
* He created us in His image, so all believers must live each of these in the world, not just in the church
* All believers must also receive these from each other in His Body.
