When asked to summarize the Law, Jesus said “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27)
Kinda catches everything, huh? That’s because God create every aspect of our being to honor Him by living as whole people in loving relationships.
Yet, we tend to compartmentalize life into physical and spiritual pieces. W.A.I.T. training proposes how and why to glorify and enjoy Christ by integrating body and soul for relational fitness.
In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul described God’s people as Christ’s “Building”, His “Bride” and His “Body”. This book explores that third image in 24 principles of physical fitness that depict spiritual truths. Think of the book as a gym full of fitness equipment for you and your friends: start where you want; use what you need; and take it at your pace.
